This project included replacing an old broken wooden entry door. We had to cut the new door and the jamb to custom fit it to the opening because a properly sized metal entry door was not available. We also sealed the door properly on the bottom after adding back in the solid wood to the bottom of the door once we cut it. We also drilled a second hole for the doorknob chosen by the client, since there was initially only one hole included on the door. Little custom jobs like this are great for sharpening the problem solving skills needed to provide solutions for clients with the old homes common in New Hampshire.
